Disable Text And Image Copying From Your Blog Content

This is a common factor on the web is that you are working hard and publishing a quality post on your blog and you are seeing that within a couple of days or even within few hours someone is copying the content of your blog post and publishing on their own site/blog. This will affect your blog ranking negatively.

But, there are several ways to get out of this trouble and I will show you probably the best two simple methods to disable text and image copying from your blog posts.

Method 1

Step 1-This is applicable for disabling text content only. So now follow these steps to perform the action. 

Sign in to your blogger dashboard and go to 'Layout' section which is marked with red border inside the image below:

Step 2-Go to the footer section or sidebar and click add a gadget, (I personally prefer footer)

Step 3-A new window will open with a list of gadgets, choose HTML/JavaScript and just click the plus (+) sign.

Step 4-Another new window will appear with blank title and content, just copy and paste the following code given below in the content section of your blog's HTML/JavaScript gadget and hit save. Now check out your blog to see that if you can copy the text content anymore or not.

Method 2-This will disable right click of the mouse button and will prevent copying images from your blog, but the left mouse button and keyboard of the computer still works here in this method, so anyone can copy the text content from your blog and publish.  If you are writing posts on coding languages like HTML, JavaScript or any other programming languages and if you need to share those codes on your posts, then this method is not applicable. For example- I am not using method 2 because I am sharing these codes to the readers of my blog, if I do so, right click will be disabled from this blog and you cannot copy the codes from here.

Another important thing you must do-After publishing your post go to Google Webmasters and index it as soon as possible.
